Evergreen Club plans open house

The public is invited to attend an open house today for the Evergreen Club, a day center for people with serious mental illness. Nearing its 29th anniversary, the Evergreen Club offers programs on job training, education and socializing. The club has 155 active members. About 55 members attend the center each day, which is open six days a week and includes a member-operated thrift store. The open house runs today from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Evergreen Club is located at 2102 E. Sprague Ave.
