Yuletide returns after two-year absence

Yuletide 2010

What: The Spokane Art School’s traditional holiday festival of fine arts and crafts returns after a two-year absence following the sale of the former art school building in 2008. Look for works by 20 area artists including Mari Anne Figgins (“Sleigh Driving School,” right) and Kris Howell (“Moonbeam Juggler”). Proceeds support Spokane Art School educational programs.

When: Friday, noon to 8 p.m. (music, dancing and refreshments 6-8 p.m.); Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, 2316 W. First Ave.

Cost: Free admission; artwork prices range from $5 to $300
