Mind, Body, Spirit Fair – Spokane Holistic Chamber of Commerce is holding the event to facilitate awareness in our community and help people realize the possibility of living a more holistic and sustainable lifestyle. “Smiles” Teeth Whitening Fundraiser – Community members can have their teeth whitened at participating dentists any time between Feb. 1 and March 31 for $99 and proceeds will go to benefit the Spokane Guilds’ School Foundation, ensuring that infants and toddlers with disabilities in Spokane County receive early intervention services, regardless of ability to pay. Low-cost Heart Health Screenings – Offered by Kootenai Heart Center, individual appointments available between 7:30-10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays during the month of February. Participants receive a blood pressure check, learn their body mass index, and get the results of an on-the-spot lipid profile which determines total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides and glucose level.
