Broken water main prompts boil order

Residents of St. Maries received an unconventional valentine: a boil order. The city’s water main broke Sunday, and while repair crews were able to fix the damage, authorities imposed a boil order as a safety precaution. Mayor Tami Holdahl said anyone using city water should boil it before drinking it or using it for consumption purposes.
