Auditions

NEWAArts Classes – Beginning Drawing Class – A professional artist will teach basic techniques with an emphasis on contour drawing. Holy Names Music Center Classes – Music Theory 1: Twelve-week class is held Mondays, 5:30-6:30 p.m., beginning next week. Greencastle Soap Company Classes – Beginning Soap Making Classes: Design your own fragrance and take home more than 3 pounds of soap. March 17-18, 7-9 p.m.; April 2, 7-9 p.m.; and April 3, 10 a.m.-noon. Cost is $45 for each two-part class, equipment and supplies are included. Advanced Soap Making Classes: Explore the world of soap and color. Class covers goat’s milk soap and pigments versus dyes. Participants make a batch for themselves to color any way they want. Manhole Cover Student Design Contest – The Spokane Arts Commission and the City of Spokane Wastewater Management is seeking manhole covers to be placed throughout the City of Spokane. Artists must be citizens of Spokane and ages 18 or younger. Selected artists will receive $100 and their design on manhole covers in Spokane for up to 50 years.
