New Faces

Margot Petersen has been hired as branch manager for Numerica Credit Union’s Sullivan branch. She previously worked as an independent consultant in the credit union industry and has more than 15 years of insurance and financial service experience. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University.

Dingus, Zarecor and Associates PLLC has hired DesaRae Hendricks as a staff accountant. She previously worked for a certified public accounting firm in Moses Lake as a staff accountant and is a graduate of Central Washington University.

Promotions

Deanna Ervin has been promoted from member service center manager to branch manager for Numerica Credit Union’s South Hill branch. She has been with the company for 11 years.

Ewing Anderson P.S. has promoted Noel Pitner to a principal shareholder. He previously worked as an associate attorney with the firm.

Kudos

Shanon Rieman has earned Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute. Rieman works as a training manager for Global Credit Union.

The following individuals and businesses were recognized during the Spokane Holistic Chamber of Commerce Awards for 2009: Holistic Health Care Practitioner of the Year Rebekah Giangreco, acupuncturist/sound healer; Holistic Business of the Year, Kevin Lucas of Structural Integration; Holistic Body Worker of the Year Harvey Cain, massage therapist; Holistic Teacher of the Year Paula Gibson-Smith of Jefferson Elementary School; and Holistic Non-Profit Business of the Year One World Spokane.

Pullman Regional Hospital received a 2009 Summit Award from Press Ganey Associates Inc. for patient satisfaction. The award is given to health care facilities that sustain a satisfaction rate in the top 5 percent for three or more consecutive years.

Elected

The Spokane Chapter of Credit Unions Board of Directors has elected Yvonne Holland to serve a one-year term as board secretary. Holland works as vice president of Washington operations for Global Credit Union.
