Cheryl Kilday has been hired as president and CEO of the Spokane Regional Convention and Visitors Bureau. She previously served as president and CEO of Visit Loudoun, a destination marketing organization for Virginia wine country, for the past 14 years. She has 25 years of tourism industry experience.

Jetseal Inc. has hired Michael Manning as production manager. He previously worked as a production manager for Unicep Packaging Inc. The company also hired Amanda Good as a quality engineer. She previously worked for General Dynamics Itronix as a senior supplier quality engineer.

Rachel Stanley has been hired by Next IT Corp. as a business analyst. She holds bachelor’s degrees in math and business administration from Gonzaga University.

Global Credit Union had hired Alison Bell as a senior credit analyst for the company’s member business services department in Spokane. She has more than 30 years of related experience and previously worked for US Bank as a relationship manager. The company also hired Kevin Schindler as a mortgage loan officer for the company’s Spokane home loan center. He previously worked as a loan officer for AXIA Financial and has 25 years of related experience.

Gary Pollack has been hired by Washington State University as dean of the College of Pharmacy. He previously served as executive associate dean and professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Eshelman School of Pharmacy in the Division of Pharmacotherapy and Experimental Therapeutics. He holds bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and psychology from Knox College and a doctorate degree in pharmaceutics from State University of New York at Buffalo.

St. Joseph Family Center hired Sister Patricia Millen as executive director. She previously served as program director for Catholic Community Services of Western Washington for the past nine years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science and religious studies from Neumann College and a Master of Education degree in guidance and counseling from Loyola College.

Coeur d’Alene Mines Corp.’s Rochester mine and employees received a First Place Safety Achievement Award in the small mine category from the Nevada Mining Association.

The journal of the American Hospital Association, “Hospitals and Health Networks,” has named Kootenai Medical Center as one of the country’s “Most Wired” hospitals for the 11th time since 1999.

Leonard Christian earned a Graduate Realtor Institute designation from the Washington Association of Realtors. Christian is a sales associate for Windermere Real Estate/Cornerstone and a candidate for Spokane County auditor. The Spokane Home Builders Association has inducted Harlan Douglass into its Hall of Fame. Douglass is the founder of Douglass Builders Inc.

Quisenberry Marketing and Design received two Bronze Telly Awards at the 31st Annual Telly Awards competition for TV spots produced for Rockwood Clinic and Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel.

The Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC), health care accrediting organization, awarded North Idaho Health Network with Health Provider Credentialing Accreditation.

Dick Boysen received a Founder’s Award from the Early Childhood Development Association of Washington for his leadership and contributions to the early childhood development field. Boysen is executive director of the Spokane Guilds’ School and Neuromuscular Center.
