Revealed A toxicology report found former Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry had no alcohol in his system after he died in December from a fractured skull and other head injuries in what’s been ruled an accident. The full autopsy and toxicology reports were released by the Mecklenburg County medical examiner’s office nearly six months after Henry died when he fell out of the back of a pickup truck driven by his fiancée.

Hired The Columbus Blue Jackets hired Scott Arniel as their new head coach. The 47-year-old Arniel was the head coach of Manitoba of the American Hockey League for the past four seasons. He succeeds interim coach Claude Noel, who took over on Feb. 3 when Ken Hitchcock was fired.

Suspended The Buffalo Sabres suspended contract talks with first-round draft pick Zack Kassian after the forward was charged with assault for allegedly punching a man at a bar in Canada. General manager Darcy Regier says the team is in no way “abandoning” the player selected 13th overall in the NHL draft last year.

Paid Head coach Mike Krzyzewski made nearly $4.2 million in 2008-09 with a base salary of nearly $2 million at Duke University for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2009.

Granted The University of Oregon says forward Joevan Catron has been granted a medical hardship waiver from the Pac-10 Conference and will be a redshirt senior in 2010-11. A back injury forced Catron to miss all but four basketball games last season.

Indicted A 22-year-old man accused of posing as a high school basketball star in West Texas has been indicted on six felony charges, including sexual assault and tampering with government records. Guerdwich Montimer, who used the name Jerry Joseph, allegedly committed identity theft. Resigned Central Washington University softball coach Gary Frederick resigned after 16 seasons. The 72-year-old Frederick led the Wildcats to school records for victories with 33 and 40 in the last two seasons. He was 320-360 from 1995 t0 2010.
