High winds expected Monday

Don’t bother staking plants today; tomorrow’s forecast calls for a high winds in the Inland Northwest, with gusts as strong as 60 miles per hour. In a hazardous weather advisory, the National Weather Service says “strong winds may cause damage to property including trees being snapped off,” as well as downed power lines and blowing dust. Visibility could be very poor in Othello, Moses Lake and Ritzville, the weather service says.
