New Faces

Danielle De Jong has been hired as an application analyst for Next IT Corporation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in English from Whitworth University. The company has also hired Renae Wood as a multimedia designer. She previously worked in the advertising industry and has more than eight years of design experience.

Allied Fire and Security has hired Kelly Stopher as chief financial officer. He previously worked for Wells Fargo Bank and spent five years in public accounting. He is a graduate of Washington State University.

Susan Hagen has been hired by InCyte Pathology as an account service representative. She previously worked for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Wyeth Consumer Healthcare in pharmaceutical sales.

Exchange Publishing has hired Kim David as a sales representative. She is a graduate of Whitworth University.

Kevin Haiar has been hired as a senior project manager for Eclipse Engineering Inc.’s Spokane Valley office. He has 10 years of structural engineering design experience and previously worked for DCI Engineers. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Washington State University.

Kudos

Kathie O’Brien has been inducted into the national Business Professionals of America Hall of Fame. She is a computer applications and office technology instructor at North Idaho College and adviser for the college’s Business Professionals of America chapter.

The Washington State Chiropractic Association has named Timothy Day as Chiropractor of the Year and also presented him with a President’s Award and Distinguished Service Award. Day is a Spokane chiropractor and has served on the WSCA board of directors for 13 years.

Kelly Guswiler received Breast Patient Navigation Certification from the National Consortium of Breast Centers. Guswiler is a breast care coordinator for Cancer Care Northwest.

Elected

The Washington State Chiropractic Association has elected Mark Jones to serve on its board of directors to represent District 5. Jones is a doctor of chiropractic and provides services at North Pines Chiropractic in Spokane Valley.
