Let’s be consistent

A famous baseball player is on the verge of being prosecuted for perjury. If he is found guilty I feel that he should be punished, but how severely?

I’ve got it. Let’s give him the same punishment Bill Clinton received when he lied through his teeth to a grand jury when he said, “I did not have sex with that woman.”

When a president is a draft dodger, dope smoker, womanizing perjurer who is never prosecuted, isn’t it a double standard to try anyone else for the same crime?

At least the baseball player entertained us. What did we ever get from Bill Clinton?
