Artist Showcase begins Friday

The Coeur d’Alene Art Association is presenting its 11th annual Artist Showcase this weekend.

The show, featuring 41 local artists, will run Friday from noon to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Resort Plaza Shops, 210 Sherman Ave. in Coeur d’Alene.

A reception Friday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. will feature painting demonstrations by Terry Lee, Bob Krogel, Patsey Parsons and Joe Kronenberg, with music, refreshments and a raffle drawing for a $200 gift certificate.

Demonstrations will continue throughout the day Saturday, along with a drawing for a framed abstract acrylic painting by Joanne Reeds.
