Police blotter

Kootenai County sheriff

Michael Gneckow, Coeur d’Alene, reported Saturday $700 damage to an electric gate at property on South Bellgrove Road near Coeur d’Alene.

Jennifer Springstead, Hayden, reported Thursday the $900 theft of cash from a home on the 9700 block of North Kirkpatrick Street in Hayden.

Edward Pongrac, Hayden, reported Friday the $608 theft of fishing gear and stereo equipment from his 1995 Ford Explorer parked at his home on the 10900 block of North Reed Road.

Robert Saxer, Hayden, reported Saturday the $1,710 theft of a GPS unit, avalanche beacon, snow shovel, gloves and cellphone and $100 damage to a window of a 1996 Jeep Cherokee parked at Fernan Saddle near Coeur d’Alene.
