Easter egg hunt - Second annual event for children ages 10 and younger. Parking is available across the street at Coeur d’Alene High School. Bring an empty basket or bag to gather eggs. Easter egg hunt and storytime - Reservations due today for this April 23 event. Presented by The Lion’s Share drama center, for ages 7-13. Easter bonnet parade and egg hunt - Parade lineup begins at Perfection Auto Body in Pinehurst with sign-ups from 10:30-11 a.m. The parade will proceed to the P-K Lions Club Community Building for a hot dog lunch with the Easter Bunny and Orange Chick from 11:45-noon, $1/person. Egg hunt follows promptly at 1 p.m. behind the Avista substation with various age categories. Dress for the weather. Sponsored by the Pinehurst-Kingston Lions Club and community volunteers. Downtown Pinehurst, Idaho. Free.

13th annual flashlight Easter egg hunt - Presented by the Northeast Youth Center. Ages 4-13 are invited to search for eggs filled with candy or find gold and silver eggs to win special prizes. Bring a flashlight, bag and wear weather-appropriate clothing. Preregistration is recommended. Hunt times are: 7:30-8:15 p.m. for ages 4-6; 8-8:45 p.m. for ages 7-9; and 8:15-9 p.m. for ages 10-13. Easter in Hillyard - Sponsored by the Hillyard Merchant Committee. Have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny at the Outlaw Cafe, 5012 N. Market St. from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; photos will be taken by the Hillyard Kiwanis and are $6 or $5 with donation of a canned food item.
