Twins appeal ruling

SAN FRANCISCO – Two former college classmates of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg have asked a federal court to reconsider its order that they accept a settlement over the site’s creation.

Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss initially claimed Zuckerberg stole their idea for Facebook but dropped a lawsuit in 2008 in exchange for $20 million in cash plus stock in the company.

A three-judge panel ruled last week that the settlement was valid.
