Funny, not humorous

I got a chuckle out of Rich Landers’ April 21 article (“Hikes will be painful …”). Not at Landers, but at Rep. Joel Kretz and Sen. Mark Schoesler. If you remember the quote and complaint, the Kretz bill died “because of pure politics and the culture wars without regard for the issues, the science or the merits of the bill.”

Another: “Seattle animal rights activists have the speaker in their pocket.”

Gee, I wonder how they feel about the Fish and Wildlife Commission’s decision to change the antler restriction in Northeast Washington without “regard for the issue, science, or the merits” of the decision.

Who is in whose pocket and is that a culture war or politics? Don’t you wonder?
