Author Christy Leskovar - Born in Butte, Christy grew up in Kennewick, became an engineer and worked for Bechtel for many years. When she learned that her great-grandmother had once been arrested for murder, she left her engineering career and wrote “One Night at a Bad Inn.” Now she returns with “Finding the Bad Inn,” a chronicle of the detective work required to uncover that story of rough times in the old city of Butte. Author Esther Barnett Goffinet - Meet the author of “Ripples of a Lie,” a new biography of Eugene Barnett and the history of the Centralia Massacre of 1919. The American Legion attacked the Centralia union hall, and for the first time in history of the union fought back. Eugene Barnett witnessed the fight, but was told by prosecutors that he should “keep his mouth shut” or else.
