Grizzly was 2-year-old male
A grizzly killed by Jeremy Hill was a 2-year-old male that was with an adult female grizzly and another young grizzly, according to Idaho Fish and Game. A Wednesday story gave the wrong gender for the bear that was shot, based on incorrect information from Boundary County.
Pools replaced, not repaired
A column by Shawn Vestal on Wednesday said that the city had paid to “fix” leaky old pools with a $48 million bond. The old pools were replaced, not repaired, and $31 million of that bond amount went to pools and splash pads, with the remainder going toward work at athletic fields.
