West Valley’s girls edge Lakeside
Natalie Noble scored 17 points and a back-and-forth affair ended in West Valley’s favor as the Eagles topped Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) 46-44 in a nonleague game Friday night at West Valley.
The win was the first of the season for West Valley in three attempts.
Jenae Martin added 10 points for West Valley. Tayler Flemming tallied a team-high 15 points for Lakeside (4-1).
Post Falls 64, Moses Lake 26: The Trojans (6-3) took control early and routed the host Chiefs. Brooke Litalien had 13 points and Rai Franklin had 10 points and seven assists for Post Falls, which led 46-10 at halftime.
Lakeland 58, East Valley 54: Darby Murray made three 3-pointers and finished with 14 points and 10 assists as the Hawks (5-4) edged the host Knights (1-4). Cieana Close added 13 points for Lakeland, which forced East Valley into 34 turnovers. The Knights were led by Erin Wallman’s 11 points and eight rebounds.
Clarkston 58, Moscow 49: An under-the-weather Jamie Weisner exploded for 34 points and 11 rebounds as the Bantams (5-0) topped the visiting Bears (4-7). Clarkston gained control in the first half and never looked back. Taylor Anderson scored a team-high 10 points for Moscow.
Deer Park 62, Riverside 48: The Stags (2-2) got 25 points from Tessa Heins and used an excellent free-throw shooting performance to beat the host Rams (3-4). Deer Park was 20 of 25 from the line, with a majority coming in the first half. Courtney Davis led Riverside with 14 points, 11 rebounds and six assists.
Freeman 51, Medical Lake 19: The Scotties (4-0) locked down on defense and cruised past the visiting Cardinals (1-5). Alyssa Maine tallied 14 points for Freeman, which allowed no more than seven points in a single quarter.
Bonners Ferry 47, Libby 25: Courtney Tucker scored 12 points as the Badgers (3-3) pulled away in the fourth quarter and won at Libby, Mont. Abby Skeen and Aubree Wasmer added eight points apiece for the Badgers, who outscored Libby 24-7 in the second half.
Sandpoint 39, Kellogg 27: Hailey Olin had 17 points and nine boards as the Bulldogs (6-4) pulled away in the third quarter and beat the visiting Wildcats (5-4). Kara Bruce added 14 points for Sandpoint. McKenna Stewart led Kellogg with 10 points.
Republic 58, Curlew 29: Alyssa Stout scored 21 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to power the Tigers (5-1) past the visiting Cougars (2-4). Gabby Jessen scored 11 points and Brianna Brown added eight points and nine boards for Republic. Natalie Wilson led Curlew with nine points.
LaCrosse-Washtucna 43, Tri-Cities Prep 40: Both teams came alive in the fourth quarter, but it was the Tigercats (1-3) who got the best of the visiting Jaguars. Logan Harder scored 15 points and made 5 of 7 fourth-quarter free throws to lead LaCrosse-Washtucna.
Garfield-Palouse 52, Potlatch 36: Kaycie Adair scored 17 points and Terrie Taylor added 13 as the Vikings (3-1) beat the visiting Loggers. Garfield-Palouse outscored Potlatch 17-4 in the first quarter.
St. John-Endicott 44, Odessa-Harrington 26: Gretchen Van Lith scored 12 points as the Eagles (2-2) beat the visiting Titans (0-4). Jordyn Tanke led Odessa-Harrington with eight points.
Almira/Coulee-Hartline 70, Omak 37: Kodi Noggles scored 20 points and pulled down 17 rebounds to guide the Warriors (3-0) past the visiting Pioneers. Miranda Porterfield added 14 points and 11 boards for Almira/Coulee-Hartline.
Wilbur-Creston 45, Soap Lake 24: The Wildcats (1-1) completely dominated the second half and ran past the visiting Eagles (3-3). Wilbur-Creston scored the first 18 points of the second half and held Soap Lake without a field goal after halftime. Kaelee Reed had 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Wildcats.

Reardan 69, Davenport 30: The Indians (4-0, 2-0) put their dominance on display in a rout of the visiting Gorillas (3-1, 2-1). Kelsey Moos scored all of her team-high 14 points in the first half and grabbed 10 rebounds for Reardan, which led 52-10 at halftime. Miranda Mielke tossed in a game-high 21 points for Davenport.
Northwest Christian 55, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 14: The Crusaders (5-1, 3-0) remained perfect in league competition with a win over the host Broncos (2-3, 0-3). Lind-Ritzville/Sprague committed 35 turnovers. Hannah Dietzen had 16 points and Treasure Farmer added 10 to lead Northwest Christian.
Colfax 49, Liberty 11: The Bulldogs (1-1, 1-0) forced the host Lancers (0-5, 0-3) into committing 30 turnovers and cruised to the easy win. Amelie Bruya had 14 points and Hannah Harazin added 10 for Colfax.
Kettle Falls 36, Springdale 30: Serena Pounds had eight points and six rebounds to lead the Bulldogs (1-4, 1-2) to a win over the visiting Chargers (1-3, 1-1). Taylor Smith tallied a game-high 13 points for Springdale.

Inchelium 37, Northport 24: Tasheena Kohler led a balanced attack with nine points and the Hornets (3-2, 1-2) beat the host Mustangs (0-7, 0-3). Anissa Jerred and Annie Mason added eight points apiece for Inchelium. Kassie Guglielmino scored 15 of Northport’s 24 points.
Columbia 68, Wellpinit 28: Krista Colvin propelled the host Lions (5-0, 3-0) past the Redskins (1-3, 1-2) in Hunters. Colvin had 17 points, 10 assists and 10 steals and also had seven rebounds. Lindsay Loe added 18 points – all coming in the first half – for Columbia. Kyra Antone paced Wellpinit with nine points.
Cusick 71, Selkirk 49: Andrea Heinen had 29 points, 22 rebounds, five steals and three assists as the Panthers (3-2, 2-1) routed the visiting Rangers (5-2, 2-1). Annie Couch had 22 points and Katie Couch scored 14 for Selkirk.
