Anaconda man kills wife, self, police say
ANACONDA, Mont. – Authorities in Western Montana say a 70-year-old Anaconda man killed his 72-year-old wife and then himself at their home.
Anaconda police Chief Tim Barkell told the Montana Standard that the man used a handgun, but the motivation for the shootings early Friday morning was unknown.
Barkell said the bodies were taken to the state crime lab in Missoula.
Names have not been released.
