Katelan Redmon scored 10 of her game-high 20 points in the first half and added six rebounds as Gonzaga (19-4) finished the first half of West Coast Conference play 7-0 with a 70-49 thumping of host San Diego (11-9, 1-6) on Saturday.
Senior Courtney Vandersloot added 12 points and 14 assists for the Bulldogs and Kayla Standish chipped in 14 points and eight assists.
The Bulldogs held the Toreros to just 37.5 percent shooting in the first half, using a 6-2 run in the final minute to take a 10-point halftime lead.
Dominique Conners led the Toreros with 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting, but San Diego shot just 40.7 percent.

Idaho State 75, Eastern Washington 69: Ashleigh Vella scored a game-high 27 points and Andrea Blodgett added 12 points and 10 rebounds as the Bengals (13-7, 4-3) built their lead to as high as 17 in their win over the Eagles (8-11, 4-3) in Big Sky action in Pocatello.
After trailing by 17 with 11:15 remaining, EWU chipped away to trail by just four with 4:30 remaining.
Chene Cooper led the Eagles with 18 points and Brianne Ryan and Tatjana Sparavalo each added 17. But ISU shot 53.8 percent in the win.
Lewis & Clark 74, Whitworth 70: Christina Herring scored nine of her game-high 19 points in the final 6:23 of regulation to help the Pioneers (15-4, 9-1) overcome a 15-point second-half deficit against the host Pirates (10-9, 6-4) in Northwest Conference action.
Whitworth, led by Emily Travis and Lauren Picha’s 15 points apiece, hit eight of its first 11 shots to race out to a 21-8 lead.
But the Pioneers began to chip away, tying the game at 46 with 10:35 remaining. They took a 64-58 lead with 2 minutes remaining to put away the Pirates.
Columbia Basin CC 79, CC Spokane 73: Tiffany Idler scored 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting, Lauren Walker added 15 points and 11 rebounds and the Hawks (18-0, 7-0 Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges) outscored the host Sasquatch (16-3, 6-1) 45-29 in the second half after trailing by 10 at the break.
CBCC shot 63 percent from the floor in the second half and scored 20 points off turnovers to remain undefeated.
The Sasquatch were led by 20 points and 10 boards from Korrie Bourn, but CCS cooled off in the second half, hitting just 30.4 percent of its shots after the break.
North Idaho 76, College of Southern Idaho 49: Four players reached double-digit points, led by 14 from Tugce Canitez, and the Cardinals (20-2, 6-2) cruised in the second half against the visiting Golden Eagles (17-6, 4-4).
After trailing by two at halftime, North Idaho outscored the Eagles 52-23 and shot 60 percent from the floor after the break.
Canitez added 13 rebounds and Kama Griffitts notched 11 points and nine assists for the Cardinals.
