Washington State Quilters Lectures - Peggy Gelbrich, a Pacific Northwest quilter who has been teaching quilting for more than 30 years, will share her experiences through a trunk show of her quilts and with two lectures. Garden Clinics - WSU Pend Oreille County Master Gardeners will offer free diagnosis and advice this summer to those with home garden and landscape issues. Library locations and times include Newport Library, Thursdays, 6-8 p.m.; Pend Oreille Valley Library in Cusick, Wash., second and third Tuesday of each month, 6-8 p.m.; and Ione Library, second and fourth Tuesday of each month, 1-3 p.m. Plant and insect samples for clinics can be dropped off at the Extension Office, 418 S.
