Strained adductor sidelines Mariners catcher Miguel Olivio
An MRI has revealed Seattle Mariners catcher Miguel Olivo has suffered a strained adductor muscle and the team has no timetable for his return.
Olivo was injured in Saturday’s game against Cleveland as he scored from third base on a fly ball. He fell as he reached home plate and was originally diagnosed as having a left groin injury.
A team spokesman said Monday the M’s are going to be slow with Olivo’s therapy. He signed as a free agent in the offseason to be the starting catcher.
