In Brief: Officers to play hockey for charity
RIVERSIDE – The third annual Spokane County Sheriff’s Office vs. Spokane Police Department charity hockey game will be at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena, 720 W. Mallon Ave., on Nov. 19 at 5 p.m., before the 7 p.m. Spokane Chiefs game.
The benefit is held in honor of officers injured or killed in the line of duty.

Auditor will speak day after election
RIVERSIDE – The Jane Jefferson Democratic Club will meet on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Perkins Restaurant, 12 E. Olive Ave.
Spokane County Auditor Vicky Dalton will speak about the election results and the Election Office.
The meeting is free and open to the public.

SPOKANE VALLEY – The Exchange Club of Downtown Spokane will host the 45th annual Crab Feed and Auction on Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m. at CenterPlace, 2426 N. Discovery Place. It will benefit Spokane’s child abuse prevention agencies, including the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, Children’s Home Society of Washington and Spokane Child Abuse and Child Neglect Center.

Student musicians to perform at mall
RIVERSIDE – The Holy Names Music Center will have the 19th annual Performathon on Saturday in the atrium at River Park Square, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The event will include students from Holy Names, from beginners through accomplished musicians.
