Here comes the vampire bride. This week, on the heels of the premiere of “Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1,” Alfred Angelo introduced the “Bella Swan” dress, the official replica of the dress Kristen Stewart’s character wears in the film. Designer Carolina Herrera designed the actual film dress. The Alfred Angelo dress (Style #8400) is a Liquid Satin sheath gown that features a dramatic plunging cut-out illusion back detailed with a soft Chantilly-inspired lace appliqué trim and full-length, lace-trimmed sleeves, self fabric-covered buttons and a Chapel train. “The design team at Alfred Angelo worked in closed quarters for the past several months to bring Bella’s style to brides worldwide,” said Michael Shettel, designer for Alfred Angelo. “All elements of the gown, even sketches, were heavily guarded for fear of any leaks until the world saw the gown on Nov. 18.” The dress, now available in Alfred Angelo stores, is priced at $799. It is available in either white or ivory, in sizes 0 to 30W.
