Gonzaga teams played at high level
It was another great season for the Gonzaga men’s and women’s basketball teams.
There were many unknowns at the beginning of the season for both teams, but again they showed their grit and dedication to keeping the high level of play that Gonzaga is known for. They provided many hours of entertaining basketball for all their fans.
Standing out in my mind were the games against Saint Mary’s and BYU on the men’s side and Rutgers and Miami on the women’s side. The electricity in The Kennel for those four games could only be felt if you were fortunate enough to be there.
Yes, it is sad to say goodbye to the seniors, knowing they will never wear a Gonzaga jersey again, but I join all the rest of the Zags fans in wishing Rob (Sacre), Marquise (Carter), Katelan (Redmon), Kayla (Standish), Kelly (Bowen), Shannon (Reader) and Molly (Anderson) all the best for the future.
Looking forward to another great season of Zags basketball next year.
