PETTIBONE, Marjorie E.
Passed away March 22, 2012.
She resided in the Seattle area for many years.
Born in Spokane, WA to parents William and Minnie Boy, Marjorie was the youngest of nine children.
She graduated from the Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in Spokane, WA and enlisted in the Army Nurse Corp shortly after graduation.
She was stationed at Ft. Lewis and worked at Madigan General Hospital during WWII and at the 118th Station Hospital in Fukuoka, Japan during the Occupation.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leon.
Survivors: daughter, Janet Pettibone of Normandy Park, WA.
Sons, Gary (Kris) of Spokane, WA and Greg of Kent, WA.
Granddaughter, Kelsey Hull (Matt) of Post Falls, Idaho.
The family suggests memorials to the VFW National Home for Children, 3573 South Waverly Road, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827 or to a charity of your choice.
The funeral service will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Yahn & Son Funeral Home, Auburn.
Committal service to follow at 12:30 P.M. at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent.
