HARVEGO, Robert A.

Of Post Falls, passed away March 30, 2012 in Spokane County.

He was born February 17, 1954 in Breckenridge, Minnesota to Alfred and Hazel (Viken) Harvego.

He was baptized and confirmed in the Breckenridge Lutheran Church.

He attended
Concordia University in Moorhead, MN and attended the University of Minnesota, where he received a degree in mortuary science.

Bob was married to Heather Morgan in 1976.

Bob was very active serving in many community organizations including Ducks Unlimited, he started A Center for the Arts in Fergus Falls MN, Boy Scouts of America, Whitworth Parents Committee, the Jaycees, Rotary, and was president of the SITE Committee at University High School in Spokane Valley.

Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a sports fanatic, especially the Minnesota Vikings.

He was a great story teller, and a wonderful cook.

He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his daughter Erin (Seth) Bullock, and a son David Harvego, both of the Spokane area; his mother Hazel Harvego of Detroit Banks, MN; sisters Sharon Josephson, Betty Mikkelson, Shirley Paulson and Barb Vangrud.

He has shared the last few years with Jean Nelson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 5 at Community Presbyterian Church in Post Falls.
