Maryruth Williams, 76 of Pullman passed away on March 22, 2012.
She was born in Chandler, Oklahoma at home on October 10, 1935.
The family later came to Pullman, Washington where she attended Pullman High School and graduated in 1953.
She attended WSC for a time and worked at General Telephone and Washington Water Power.
She later went to California where she worked as lead operator for National Airline returning to Pullman in 1967.
Following that, she worked as a bookkeeper and tax preparer in spite of multiple health problems.
She took care of both of her parents at the end of their lives.
She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene, and also attended and served as camp counselor at Pinelow church camp in Deer Park.
She loved all children but especially her nieces, nephew, grand nieces, and grand nephew.
They loved her back.
She was brought to Wenatchee in June 2011 after suffering a stroke where she resided at a nursing home until her death, with her family at her side.
She is survived by a brother David A.
(Jan) Williams in Deer Park.
Two nieces, Cathy Seeman of Wenatchee, Glenda (George) Giroux of Seattle, and nephew Greg (Debbie) Seeman of Wenatchee and many grandnieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Cleo Williams, her mother Maurine (Grindstaff) Williams-Lekarsey, two brothers, Leland and Phillip Williams, and sister, Alberta (Ray) Seeman.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
