Easter egg hunts

South Perry Easter Egg Hunt – 10:30 a.m.-noon. Free egg hunts for ages 6-12 will be held at 10:45 a.m., 11:05 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Children ages infant to 2 and 3 to 5 years will have a special egg hunt. Activities include face painting, crafts, games, professional photos with the Easter Bunny and more. Grant Park at 1015 S. Arthur St. Sponsors include Bethel AME Church, Emmaus Church, Odyssey Youth Center, South Perry Pizza and TEAM Grant.

Easter Bunny Photo Shoot – Fourth annual event presented by Appleway Florist and Greenhouse. Have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Bring your own camera or have a professional portrait taken between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The whole family is welcome, including small pets. 11006 E. Sprague Ave., Spokane Valley. $6.50 for 5- by 7-inch portraits, $5-$7.50 for photo buttons, and $7 for nine wallet-size photos. (509) 924-5050.

Riverfront Park Easter Egg Hunt – A free Easter egg hunt for kids 10 and under, split into four age groups, hosted by KIX 96. The hunt begins at noon, but arrive early for instructions on exact locations, which will be available near the Rotary Riverfront Fountain. Call (509) 242-2400 for information.

Easter Bonnet Parade-Silver Valley – Parade will line up at Perfection Auto Body, 206 N. Division St. in Pinehurst, Idaho. Sign up from 10:30-11 a.m. Parade begins at 11 a.m. and proceeds to the Pinehurst Kingston Lions Club building. Prizes and ribbons will be awarded, followed by lunch with the Easter Bunnies and Orange Chick. Lunch will be from 11:45 p.m.-noon. Cost is $1 and includes hot dog, chips, cookie and a drink.

VFW Post 1435 Annual Easter Egg Hunt – For ages 1 to 11. There will also be drawings after the hunt. Noon, Edgecliff Park, 800 S. Park Road, Spokane Valley (509) 230-2958.

Community Easter Egg Hunt – Free family event with carnival games, bounce castle and slide, prizes, petting zoo, concessions, face painting, a balloon artist, and Easter egg hunt for children up to the fifth grade.
