“Bud”

Passed away, April 1, 2012, at Rockwood at Hawthorne in Spokane.

He was born March 31, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois, the oldest of five siblings.

He married Ellen Avery Carlton in August 1942.

He was a WWII veteran, a pilot in Europe, spending over a year as a prisoner of war.

He was a career U.S. Air Force officer (Major) and later a Civil Servant.

He lived in many places around the country and the world before retiring to Spokane in 1991.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Helna Anderson and brother, Ray Anderson.

Survived by Avery, his wife of 69 years; sons, Larry (Linda) Anderson, Bob Anderson, daughters, Janet (Ken) Miles, and Pam Nilsen; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucielle Bos, Betty (Bob) Cook; and brother Wilford (Nancy) Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at Shadle Park Presbyterian Church on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 11:00.
