Spokane Valley Fire Department – Construction of the new administration building is substantially complete and landscaping will be added as weather permits. The department is slightly under budget so far this year, but a busy flu season has caused an increase in overtime. The department’s response times are all well under the standard except in a handful of specialty areas like water rescue.
