Riverside School District’s levy has passed by 11 votes, according to the Spokane County Elections Office.
The vote had been deadlocked since April 18, with just a few more ballots to count. The election was certified Thursday.
This was the second time the district had asked voters to approve a levy since February. If it had failed, the district would have had to wait until next year before proposing another one.
The measure will raise about $2.9 million per year and cost home owners about $3.42 per $1,000 assessed value.
