Your week

Your Food

Food safety is a serious issue for seniors. They are more susceptible to deadly bacteria harbored by forgotten leftovers and guests can suffer unpleasant side effects of food forgotten in the fridge. Writer Rebecca Nappi looks at ways to keep aging family members safe from anything hanging out in the fridge too long. The Dish includes some changes to the restaurant scene in Coeur d’Alene, including the reopening of the Wine Cellar in its new street-level location, a new Capone’s Pub & Grill planned for Hayden and the new menu offerings at Bistro on Spruce.
