PARKER, Robert J.

Passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 in Spokane after a short illness.
Robert was born December 13, 1944 in Spokane, WA to Frank Parker and Betty Morgan and lived in the Cheney area until graduating Cheney High School in 1962.
After graduation, he went to Seattle and worked for Boeing and then moved back to Spokane and married Bonni Becke in 1965.
They had Rhonda Haag of Spokane and Sandra Bolstad of Cheney.
Robert served in the National Guard Reserves from 1967 until 1971 and in 1983 returned to the Cheney, WA area.
In 1985 he married Catherine Loveall and was “Dad” to Jack Loveall of Mead, WA and Frank Swiggart of Merced, CA.
He was a lifetime member with Paradise Grange and was retired from US West where he worked from 1966 to 1998.
He was preceded in death by his father and leaves six grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 7 at 1:00 pm at CHENEY FUNERAL CHAPEL IN CHENEY, WA .
Burial to follow at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
