Souper Bowl Cross Country and Snowshoe Sunday - Seventh annual event. The event is open to women of all levels of experience in cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Snowshoes will be available on site free of charge and there will be discounted ski rentals and a chartered bus up to the mountain for $15. Burgers with a Heart - 12th annual fundraiser presented by Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. and the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery. The charity fundraiser will benefit the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery. Runs through Feb. 13, Spokane-area Red Robin restaurants, including Coeur d’Alene, will donate 50 cents to the crisis nursery for every gourmet burger sold. Local celebrities and high school students will assist Red Robin in raising additional funds for the nursery by selling paper hearts to Red Robin guests during the fundraiser. (509) 535-3155.

Spokane Go Red for Women Luncheon - Locally presented by Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital, the ninth annual event creates an energetic and informative atmosphere that encourages women to become champions of their own health. It urges women to band together and wipe out heart disease with the goal of educating and empowering women in the Spokane community to practice a heart-healthy lifestyle. Julie Clark, an award-winning author, professional speaker, life fulfillment and success coach, and founder of The Inspirational Coffee Club, will be the keynote speaker for the event.
