WALDEN, John Eugene “Jack”
(Age 86)

Jack passed away February 12, 2012 at Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg, ID.

Jack was born October 29, 1925 in Burke, Idaho at home to Frederick Eugene and Mary Edna (Keegan) Walden.

He was Married April 18, 1949, to Victoria “Vicky” Zamattia at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church by Father Griesel.

That union lasted 62 years.

Jack proudly served his country in the United States Army.



Jack is survived by his loving wife Vicky of the family home in Osburn, Idaho and one sister Helen Louise of Sacremento, California.

He was preceded in death by his son Robert Victor Walden, his parents and Two sisters.

He lived his whole life in the Silver Valley and was raised in Black Cloud and graduated from Wallace High School.



Jack worked for various trucking companies in the valley, the last being Zanetti Brothers.

He went to work for the Washington Power Company (now Avista Corporation) February 11, 1952, and retired as head groundman on October 1, 1982.

Cremation was held and a memorial mass will be held Saturday, February 25th, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Wallace, Idaho with Father Tom Loucks officiating.
