Madonna hopes Elton John forgives

Madonna, the Golden Globe winner for original song, is currently juggling a lot of creative endeavors – but before talking about any of that backstage at the Golden Globes, she had a few things to say about her derriere.
“I’m just dancing,” she said, revealing she’s not the Pilates nut she used to be. “The best thing for your bum is dancing.”
She showed off that fit 53-year-old body in a Reem Acra dress: “I feel like I’m wearing chain mail, and I’m ready to go into battle.” (Perhaps she can hang onto it for her upcoming Super Bowl halftime show?)
The multi-hyphenate, whose “Masterpiece” from “W.E.” beat Elton John’s “Hello Hello” from “Gnomeo & Juliet” for original song, said of her fellow nominee, “I hope he speaks to me for the next million years. He’ll win another award though, so I don’t feel bad.”
O.J. Simpson faces foreclosure
A bank is foreclosing on the Florida home of O.J. Simpson, who is serving time in a Nevada prison for kidnapping, armed robbery and other charges.
Miami-Dade Circuit Court records show that JPMorgan Chase filed for foreclosure in September. Simpson’s attorneys have since filed a motion to dismiss the case.
Simpson bought the four-bedroom, four-bath house south of downtown Miami in 2000 for $575,000. Its current assessed value is $478,401.
The former football star and actor is serving a nine-to-33-year prison sentence in a 2007 armed confrontation with sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas casino hotel room.
Penn event raises $5 million for Haiti
PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti – A publicist says $5 million was raised in Los Angeles for actor Sean Penn’s humanitarian group based in Haiti.
The money will go toward Penn’s J/P Haitian Relief Organization, which he set up a few months after the 2010 earthquake to oversee a settlement camp where thousands of people displaced by the disaster lived.
Penn was also named “ambassador at large to Haiti” by Haiti’s foreign affairs minister, Laurent Lamothe, at the Saturday event in Beverly Hills.
