BOURCY,
Michele Dian

Passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 following a long and courageous battle with cancer.


She was born September 10, 1961 in Redondo Beach, California to Michael and Gloria (McDougal) Mignogna.
Michele’s family relocated to the Seattle Washington
area when she was a child where she was raised and schooled.

Michele moved to Loon Lake, WA in 2000 and married Tommy Bourcy.

Michele lived her life to the fullest and had a unique ability to make sincere friends out of most acquaintances.

She was known by all as “The Baby Whisperer” and used those talents at every opportunity to mesmerize infants and small children stilling tears and producing smiles.

She enjoyed an 11 year career with the Coeur D’Alenes Company in Spokane as the receptionist and after as the accounts payable clerk where she established many close relationships with co-workers and customers.
Michele is survived by her husband, Tommy Bourcy, Loon Lake, WA; stepson Benjamin Bourcy and wife, Christina, Bossier City, LA; brothers, Christopher Mignogna and wife, Cathy, Oakville, WA , Richard Mignogna, Seattle, WA; stepbrother, Tony Patrazewski, Kennewick, WA; grandchildren, Justin Taylor and wife, Carolyn, Loon Lake, WA, Amanda Blake and husband, Devon, Millwood, WA, Travis Taylor, Loon Lake, WA, Taryn, Tyler and Tristan Bourcy, Bossier City, LA; stepmother, Nicki McMurry and husband, Neil , Chewelah, WA; uncles Harold McDougal and wife, Carol, Gooding, ID, Arthur David and wife, Tracy, Anchorage, AK; aunt and best friend, Lynn Czekalski and husband, Ron, Salem, OR, aunt Naja Hogander, Mountlake Terrace, WA; cousins Gilbert McDougal and wife, Betty, Gooding, ID, Lori Sites, Wendell, ID Deporter and Scott McDougal, Gooding, ID and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents.


At Michele’s request there will be no immediate services, however, there will be a Celebration of Life and Memorial service in the spring at a Loon Lake location.

The date and location are to be determined.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Spokane in memory of Michele.
