Linda Kay
Linda Kay Anderson, RN, of Everett, WA, died peacefully in her sleep on January 13, 2012 at Providence Hospital in Everett, after an almost two-year battle with cancer.
Linda was born in Spokane on September 7, 1957, to Paul and Kay (Nelson) Greco.
She graduated from Shadle Park High School, Spokane, in 1975.
In 1976 the family moved to Bellevue where she attended Bellevue College to study nursing.
She served as an RN for over 31 years in Providence’s Pavilion for Women & Children.
She was admired for her strong work ethic, ability to teach others and role modeling for bedside nursing care.
Linda was described by her friends as being kind, caring, faithful and committed.
She was a sports enthusiast and a member of the Seattle Women’s Mariner’s Club for over twenty years.
She was a fan of the Everett Silver Tips but loved attending her son’s Everett Youth Hockey games.
She also enjoyed traveling.
Linda was preceded in death by her infant son, John Steven Anderson.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Anderson; son, Ethan; parents, Paul (Marelu) and Kay Greco; brother, Dave (Mary) Greco; cousins Jay Larkin, Kathy Sinn and Patty Larkin.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Cross Methodist Church, 1210 132nd Street SE, Mill Creek, WA.

Checks may be made payable to SCCA with indication that they are in memory of Linda Kay Anderson and, per her request, be designated for endometrial cancer research.

made the world a better place because she was in it.
