She was born on August 20, 1918 in Leibenthal, Kansas.
She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Major Joel B. Peters.
Kitty is survived by a daughter, Joeleen Young of Erie, PA; granddaughter, Julie Bock of Pasco, WA; grandson, Joel Bock (wife, Theresa) of Kennewick, WA.
She is also survived by a son-in-law, Carl Young of Erie, PA; sisters LyDia Meyer of Tacoma, WA, Ruby Nichols of 29 Palms, CA Martina Herrman; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
