Best bet on the Tube

With a victory in the U.S. Women’s Open at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wis., this week, Yani Tseng would become the youngest women’s player to complete a career Grand Slam of victories in each major tournament. The 23-year-old native of Taiwan would even one-up Tiger Woods, who didn’t win all four majors on the men’s side until he was 24. But after winning three times on the LPGA Tour earlier this year, Tseng is struggling going into today’s first round ( 1 p.m. on ESPN2). Tseng acknowledges that completing the career slam is “hard to not think about” but says she feels good going into the tournament. – AP
