An Evening at the Hagadone Estate on Lake Coeur d’Alene - This benefit for Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai County is being held at the estate of Duane and Lola Hagadone. Author Christie Toribara - Pharmacist Toribara is one of many people who live with a condition called Celiac Sprue, an auto-immune disorder which prevents her from eating wheat, barley, rye or contaminated oats. Toribara developed a cookbook and supplemented it with educational information, “Savory, Sweet, Delicious – Gluten Free Foods Everyone Will Love.” The book is full of taste-tested recipes and menus that are gluten-free.
