REEVE, Patrick R.
February 14, 1940 - July 6, 2012

Patrick R. Reeve, age 72, of Sprague, Washington, passed away Friday, July 6th, 2012.

He was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to Richard Reeve and Margaret (Nash) Reeve of the Ojibwe Tribe.


Patrick served his country with honor as a U.S.

Naval Officer from year 1958 through 1978 and as an active reserve from 1978 through 1988.

He was based in Alameda, California and upon retiring from the Navy, moved his family to Stockton, California to pursue his dream to acquire a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pacific, which was procured in 1984.

He was employed as an accountant for UOP and later as teacher for students with special needs.


He was a devoted father and husband, he is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gloria Jean (Gulick) Reeve and his daughters: Renee Young, Rhonda Speelman and, Rita McGrath.

Patrick has joined his son, Reu A. Reeve in heaven and rejoices in the presence of God.

Patrick’s love and memory live on in his grandchildren: Suzie, Ben, Jon, Jordan, Robbyn, Kristina, Flynn, Bea; and, his great-grand- children Vance and Chayton.
Committal Service: Friday, July 20th, 2012 at 1:30pm, Veterans State Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Road, Medical Lake, WA 99022.
