Theater group plans children’s workshop

Stagewest Community Theatre in Medical Lake will have a two-week children’s workshop, Monday-Friday and July 30-Aug. 3.

The workshop will be at Hallett Elementary School, 524 S. Hallett St., in the multi-purpose room and will be from 9 a.m. to noon each day. At the end of the session, the kids will perform “Beauty and the Beast” at 1 and 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 at Hallett.

Tickets for the performance are $5 for adults, $2 for children and children 6 and younger are free. Family passes may be purchased for $10
