WINWARD, Walter William
(Age 59)

Of Post Falls, ID died February 27, 2012 in Post Falls, ID in an automobile accident.

Born November 26, 1952 in Davenport, Iowa to mother, Marjorie Winward and father, Ned Winward.

Walt served as a Marine in the Military for four years January 9, 1970 thru February 22, 1974 and was a Seattle University graduate.

He married Roberta (Bobbi) Winward on April 20th 1979 in Redwood City, CA.

They came to the Northwest in 1982 from California and moved to the Spokane area in 2003.

Walt worked at Travelers Insurance for many years as a Customer Service Representative.

He was a member of the LDS church in Post Falls.

He loved being with his family but most of all enjoyed the outdoors, and building Lego structures when he had the time.

Survived by his wife Bobbi, his son Guy and his wife Shelly and their children: Richard and Samantha; daughter Marissa and her six children; his biological father Marty Wellmen; brothers: Loren Wellman (wife Norma Jean), Steven Winward (wife Sherrie), Gerald Winward, Franklin Winward; sisters: Linda Ayers, Mabel Foster (husband Norm), Sally Montgomery (husband Glen), Nedra Kiel and Lorena Winward.

The first memorial service will be held at 11am on March 3rd at the 3rd Ward in Post Falls located at 15151 McGuire Rd.

Post Falls, ID.

A second memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on March 10th at First Presbyterian Church in Spokane located at 318 S. Cedar St.
