GayeLynn was born on May 3rd, 1951, to parents George and Velma Wellman of Denver, Colorado.

She spent most of her childhood in Golden, Colorado and graduated with honors from Golden High School.

GayeLynn earned her bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State College of Denver.

Her career began in administration at Greeley Gas Co. in Denver and then onto Human Resources at Texaco in Denver and Houston as a corporate spokesperson.

After 20 years at Texaco, GayeLynn retired and started her own Human Resources business and consulted as a Corporate Recruiter for Gonzales Consulting Services of Denver.



GayeLynn attended Mount St. Michael Church of Spokane, where she was well loved and respected.

She was considered a pillar of the community and involved in parish activities and fund raising.

GayeLynn was laid to rest in Mount St. Michael’s cemetery.

GayeLynn is survived by husband Thomas of Spokane and family, father George Wellman, Mission, Texas, brother Chris Wellman, Houston and goddaughter Kittim De La Torre, Denver.
