Passed away peacefully at Life Care Center in Ritzville with family and friends at her side.
Hilda Josephine (Abrahamson) Roberts was born in Spokane, WA on July 19, 1911 to Hjalmar and Josephine M. (Paradis) Abrahamson.
She lived in Spokane half of her life.
She met the love of her life on April 13, 1929 and married Hobert Clayton Roberts on January 25, 1930 in Spokane.
They moved to Marengo, WA in 1943 where Hilda worked as a railroad clerk and the town postmaster.
They moved back to Spokane in 1957 where she worked at a hearing aid store.
She was installed as Madam President of Eagles Aerie No 2 in Spokane on June 1, 1965.
She was a member of Eagles more than 65 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Judith Roberts Becker in 1973; her husband Hobert in 1978 and a great-grandson Terry Lindblade in 2002.
She is survived by a daughter Roberta Buch (Charles) of Ritzville, Shannon Lindblade of Tacoma, and Susan Stewart (Rick) of Crofton, NE; five great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
Graveside Services and Interment will be Saturday March 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
