Blagojevich’s barber says helmet to go gray

From Wire Reports

It may be hard to imagine Rod Blagojevich looking anything but boyish with his trademark dark helmet hair. But his longtime barber said Wednesday the former Illinois governor has been dyeing his hair for years, and now that he is in prison – where dyes are banned – it will soon turn gray.

Peter Vodovoz, Blagojevich’s Chicago-area barber for two decades, told the Associated Press the 55-year-old has dyed his hair himself, but with no dye available at his lockup, the last color masking his gray will fade within three months.

“His hair will turn gray, like Jay Leno’s,” Vodovoz said, speaking a week after Blagojevich entered a federal prison outside Denver to serve his sentence on corruption charges.

Ahoy matey! Hugh Grant voices pirate

Hugh Grant is stepping away from his usual romantic fare – to walk the plank.

The British actor is starring in “The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists,” his first animated film role. He plays a pirate captain – called Pirate Captain – on a quest to win the Pirate of the Year Award.

He joined co-star David Tennant at the premiere of the latest adventure from Aardman Animations, creators of “Wallace and Gromit,” in London on Wednesday.

The “Notting Hill” actor admitted he doesn’t see many similarities between himself and his pirate persona.

“I looked at it and I thought ‘Well I’m nothing like that, this is terrible casting.’ So I actually had to adapt myself, and I had to do a bit of acting for once,” he joked.

The Situation in drug treatment

The party is on hold for The Situation. The “Jersey Shore” cast member is getting treatment for prescription medication use.

Mike Sorrentino said he’s voluntarily seeking to “take control” of medication he was taking to deal with exhaustion.

The 29-year-old reality star known for his steel abs made the admission on Facebook and his personal website after gossip sites reported he was in rehab. He said he has “spent the past several weeks getting treatment for this problem and recuperating from my work and appearance schedule.” He didn’t specify the medication.
