Passed away May 3, 2012 at Coeur d’Alene, ID.
She was born December 5, 1937 at Susanville, CA to George and Sylvia (Pratt) Stone.
She graduated from high school in Westwood, CA.
She married James Hoffman, her high school sweetheart in 1956.
He died in 1964.
She then attended beauty school in San Francisco and worked as a beautician at the ‘Cut & Curl’ in Auburn, CA.
She married Walter Bone in 1970 and the couple moved to Sanders, ID in 1971.
Walter died in 1985.
Fran had worked as a beautician, owned and operated the Sander’s Store, and retired from the Washington State University grounds crew.
Survivors include her children, Jay (Marcia) Hoffman of Plummer, ID; Jolene ‘Jodie’ (Rick) Magers of Clarkston, WA; Kurt (Kerri) Hoffman of Rathdrum, ID; Russ (Tandy) Hoffman of East Wenatchee, WA; and Mike (Yolanda) Bone of Plummer, ID; sister Bonnie Chandler of Clarkston, WA; brother Jack Stone of Yuma, AZ and Elk River, ID; ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse James Hoffman and spouse Walter Bone, daughter Pamela Bone Houser with unborn child; grandchild Jamie Magers, and brothers Bill and Bob Stone.
Rosary will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at DeSmet, ID on Tuesday, May 8th at 7:00 P.M. with Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) on Wednesday, May 9th.
Burial will be at Goldenrod Cemetery in Tekoa, WA.
